Sat 5th Sept: arrive in Umbria

• Pick-up at Rome FCO airport and private transfer to Umbria
• Welcome lunch, prosecco and itinerary presentation at La Selva, private country house, (included)
• Private transfer to Spoleto and check in to the restored historical residence, Palazzo Leti
• Dinner at Sabatini, one of Spoleto’s finest establishments (included)

Sun 6th Sept: Spoleto and Fonti del Clitunno

• Breakfast in hotel
• Guided visit of Spoleto and light lunch at Tric Trac overlooking the magnificent Duomo (included)
• Transfer to Fonti del Clitunno and walk around the protected natural park and the river’s natural springs; visit to Tempietto sul Clitunno (one of the first Roman Christian temples and a UNESCO site)
• Dinner at Ristorante Volare in Borgo Trevi

Mon 7th Sept: Bevagna and winery visit with pairing lunch and wine-tasting

• Breakfast in hotel and private transfer to Bevagna, a medieval jewel and popular film location
• Guided visit of Bevagna, including medieval house, cashmere factory with the owner and the famous butcher, Tagliavento.
• Transfer to Dionigi winery, cellar visit and pairing lunch (included), introducing the finest Umbrian wines (Grechetto, Rosso di Montefalco DOC and Sagrantino di Montefalco (DOCG)

Tue 8th Sept: Full day in Assisi

Wed 9th Sept: Urbani Truffle Experience in Valnerina, Marmore Waterfalls

• Breakfast in hotel and private transfer to Valnerina.
• Guided visit, truffle hunt and lunch including truffle specialties at Urbani Tartufi in Valnerina.
• Visit to Marmore Falls, built by the Romans and the tallest man-made falls in the world.
• Return to Borgo della Marmotta
• Dinner at Casaline in Campello sul Clitunno (included)

Thu 10th Sept: Gubbio and Spello

• Breakfast in hotel and private transfer to Gubbio
• Guided tour of the historical medieval town of Gubbio, visiting the church of St. Francis, Palazzo dei Consoli and the renowned cathedral.
• Lunch at the Taverna del Lupo
• Transfer to Spello (The City of Flowers) for a pleasant walk through the charming flower-filled streets
• Return to the hotel for free time to relax by the pool or have a massage (not included)

Fri 11th Sept: Shopping and farmhouse visit

• Morning spent by the pool, in the spa or local shopping (Montefalco, Spoleto)
